Educational Resource Builder: a visual toolkit for interactive learning

A lot of my work involves creating standalone interactive learning experiences that can be embedded directly into learning management systems and other digital learning platforms. These resources are typically built using JavaScript, HTML and CSS, allowing them to combine custom interactions, animation and media in a lightweight, portable format.
I developed the Educational Resource Builder to streamline this process and make interactive content easier to design, assemble and maintain. It provides a WYSIWYG-style editing environment with layers, groups, scenes, animation timelines and keyframes. Authors can arrange components visually, create interactions, apply animation presets and preview the finished experience without manually coding every element.
For more advanced projects, the builder also supports multiple timelines, custom JavaScript and CSS, reusable UNE-branded assets, responsive stage layouts and export to standalone HTML. The exported resources can then be embedded into learning platforms while retaining their visual design, animation and interactive behaviour.
The project brings visual authoring and code-level flexibility together, supporting rapid development while still allowing more specialised experiences to be extended with custom code.
